I'm working on this on a regular basis now in my life, I refuse to let anyone steal my joy or happiness in life. You are in control of it, protect your personal space and energy, something inside you will tell u when something is off or not right . It's called your intuition Taking time out to pamper yourself can remind you that you are important, too. It can reinforce, to yourself and others, that you are of value and also improve your self-esteem. Taking care of yourself can evoke feelings of being happy with yourself and your life, and this is then reflected to others and influences how they perceive you.
